Hi there,

I am a Reader in the Church of England and I have written a NEW course on prayer called Prayer Eleven for Seekers. The course is aimed at teaching individuals (or perhaps small groups) about prayer, and they can download the course for free from my web site www.prayereleven.org . If you think your congregation or others might be interested in this please could you put a notice in your church notice sheet (see web site) or forward this email to them.

Regards

All,

I am so glad that the church is being rebuilt.

My late parents were married in the church on a cold foggy November day in 1960. I had many scout church parades during the 1970's.

I now live in Australia, but have fond memories.

I second what Abim said-St Barnabas is a congregation of nice friendly people. There's always a warm welcome awaiting at this church.I too cannot wait for the church to be finished and re open-its been such a long wait, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.We lost a very beautiful old church to that devastating fire five years ago-but St Barnabas will soon arise from the ashes again & I'm sure the new church will be very beautiful as well.

I was also married there in 1973. The church has very fond memories for us - we were so upset it was ruined by fire! Looking forward to seeing it open again.
