Posted by Jonathan Walker on 08,04,10Hi there,
I am a Reader in the Church of England and I have written a NEW course on prayer called Prayer Eleven for Seekers. The course is aimed at teaching individuals (or perhaps small groups) about prayer, and they can download the course for free from my web site www.prayereleven.org . If you think your congregation or others might be interested in this please could you put a notice in your church notice sheet (see web site) or forward this email to them.

Posted by Administrator on 19,06,12Hello! Very interesting good site! I'm really like it! Very, very good!
Posted by David Clement on 19,06,12All,
I am so glad that the church is being rebuilt.
My late parents were married in the church on a cold foggy November day in 1960. I had many scout church parades during the 1970's.
I now live in Australia, but have fond memories.
Posted by Abim on 22,10,12Can wait for the church to be finished. Its a congregation of nice people.God bless.
Posted by Hazel Wykes on 22,10,12Just to say its great to be back at my ''Home'' church St Barnabas again after been away a while due to personal problems, depression & genaral ill health.
Am looking forward to the opening of our new church building in December.
Posted by Paul on 29,10,12Thanks for the kind thoughts - St Barnabas will re-open with a series of Christmas services. More details here soon.
Posted by Hazel Wykes on 08,11,12I second what Abim said-St Barnabas is a congregation of nice friendly people. There's always a warm welcome awaiting at this church.I too cannot wait for the church to be finished and re open-its been such a long wait, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.We lost a very beautiful old church to that devastating fire five years ago-but St Barnabas will soon arise from the ashes again & I'm sure the new church will be very beautiful as well.
Posted by Mrs E Bevan on 08,11,12I was married at st Barnabas in 1960 my daughter was also married there families cristend there,I have lived in Erdington all my life so its nice to see it all coming together again.
Posted by Linda Hodgetts on 14,11,12I was also married there in 1973. The church has very fond memories for us - we were so upset it was ruined by fire! Looking forward to seeing it open again.
